Maybe not the most important thread for us downhillers but winters are long.......

After 5 years without a hardtail I am thinkining of building a Hardtail for pump tracks and some trail riding.

So i call for ideas and/or pics of your pump track bikes.

Thanx!

Those little Blackmarket .357s are cheap, kickass feeling completes if you don't need gears. I really liked my Riot that I had last season. On mine, I made a derailleur hanger for it and ran it with two brakes, and it was also a real nice little trail hardtail

I've been building up a pumptrack bike over the winter with old parts. It's pretty much done, just waiting for a new handlebar for my dh/fr bike to come in so I can scavenge my old one.

I built up an old small norco 250, 3 piece cranks with 24" wheels and a dmr trailblade fork. I'll post a pic tonight. I've been debating whether to put a brake on it or not. My 250 doesn't have rim brake posts anymore so I'd need to put a disk on it. I figure I don't absolutely need a break but I ride the track mostly with my 6 year old son so it'd probably be wise so I'm going to scrounge something up.

I really wish I could find the picture of the bike I'm thinking of, it would make an amazing pump track bike.

2004 Specialized p3 frame
Rockshock Psylos, gold, 20mm
I think it had silver deemaxx
XT crankset
LG1 guide
Gold King headset.

It was so sweet.

Thanks.....I absolutely love this thing.

Only change is eventually getting a Macneil pivotal post (black) and SL seat (white). Just waiting for a 27.2mm post to become available..
