looks like it would be fun for about 3 days.
would it be more interesting if it were illegal in the middle of Pisgah and had a huck to flat in 1 corner and you could invite tons of people from other states to poach it???

Yeah I know. I drove over to Asheville on Wednesday to pick up a bike from Tom. There and back plus some fun in his drive way building a berm. :)

before I EVER dig there again, I want 100% guarantee that NO motorized vehicles can access the park. Locals on 4 wheelers.....:mumble: :mumble:

But in all seriousness, that might very well be possible. Woody Keen, Liberty Bikes and the Blue Ridge Bike Club are building new trails there with a whopping 50k grant and in the "spring" they are supposed to develop a "skills" part up top....we'll see.

Oh, incidentally...anybody who wants to stay up on what is going to be happening with the Pisgah Area SORBA chapter, here is the website.

To stay up to date on what activities, events and things be sure to sign yourself...and lots of random buddies who are too lazy and always ask you what is going on...up for their newsletter.

Well...it looks like I'm gonna start swinging on this one. Somebody help me out on this one and follow up as well. Here is the info page about Alexander Park and what is occuring out there.
http://www.mtbikewnc.com/trailheads/alexander.html
"For more information, including information on volunteer opportunities to help with trail construction, contact the Alexander Park Coordinator, Michael McGauhey, at kona853@worldnet.att.net."
I've already sent them an email about a pump track. I suggest interested users follow through as well.
