Because it the mother of all pumps with its carbon fiber.....wait....wow that is expensive. Why buy that when you can get a good Specialized pump for $60.

Lifetime warranty.
If you bought it and used it for 30 years, it would be a good deal.
That said, my $30 serfas has lasted 7 years of regular and abusive use.

All the guages on any pump I buy usually tank in 2 years. I nearly got killed by a Silica that blew off at 115 lbs today.
