We're supposed to get something over two inches of wet snow tonight, followed by an inch and a quarter of rain tomorrow night and Wednesday.

our dog kept us from getting a good night's sleep. my wife tried to sell the idea that the dog was lonely and that's why she kept whining all night, but I'm fairly certain the dog was in pain because she went on a big huge hike on Sunday and her knees are both surgically repaired. either way, I am not well rested and going to bring some great vibes to all of today's work.
Uff. Probably too sick for a germtube ride today. I’d survive, but it’d be pretty douchey of me to cough all over everyone.
I fucked something up at work and found out about it early Saturday morning, so then I spent all weekend stressing about it, and then five minutes into the work day today the problem was resolved. So, a whole lot of weekend stress for nothing, but I am glad that stress is behind me and it feels like a load off today.
Anyway, I slogged through a slow and tired five mile run early this morning on slick roads. Looks like a shitload of rain is on the way this week.

Although the glasses are ugly as shit they really do cut the glare of other cars headlights and make night driving easier for me.

going to put in some more work on the UTV and getting those items buttoned up so I can build the rack for the pickup. had to order some small parts I dont seem to have in stock, battery disconnect, winch solenoid, switch pod.

These are polarized night driving glasses. They really help reduce eyestrain and cut the glare so my 68 year old eyes can handle the headlights on the freeways and streets of Oakland at 4am.

my whole family got a zpak, it was like oprah but with azithromycin, bronchodialators, and benzonatate.
this is what we all had, mycoplasma pneumonia. my kid and I caught it early, my wife had double pneumonia and probably would have ended up int he hospital, had it not been for her stubbornness.

dude the benzonatate messed me up. It's not prescribed for kids under 18, but I was lightheaded and dizzy and stuff. I stopped coughing though, and that was wonderful.
14yo had the pneu a month or so ago. fortunately no one else in the fam got it. bit it was going around like crazy here back then.
/me was on public radio for an hour this morning being interviewed about out current show, then having other meetings. was supposed to go home to be there when the drywall guys were redoing our ceiling, but they reschedule until tomorrow afternoon. gotta get through an opening later this week, then can chill/deal with xmas/fam stuff for a while. phew.
