So, I couldn't believe the difference was as much as a pound and tried to find the weight difference between steel and ti 5th Element springs.
Couldn't find it on the Progressive site but a site called weight weenies (or something) shows 937g total weight with steel and 790g with ti. Assuming it's close to accurate, that's 147g or a little over 5oz difference.
Well got this bad boy to try out last week. Got to ride it hard all weekend at North Star. Initial impressions are good, but still too early to give you a review. So for now you'll just have to settle for some eye candy!
You can buy direct from Renton. However you will pay full MSRP which will be about $210-$240.
Check Go-Ride, but you can only get what they have left in stock. Scott said price break was 10 springs per rate and stroke NOT combined. Needless to say, that would take a massive capital outlay for all brands, rates and strokes for what is a highly specialized item.
Your best bet if you have a Fox shock and Go-ride doesn't have it, would be to get it directly from Renton.
If you have a Avalanche or a Romic try them first. Although Romic only carries a couple of spring rates in many sizes. For example they only have 350lb and 550lb in 3" stroke. Avalanche I believe cares all rates and they are the same size as Romic. Craig sells them for $195.
Bike looks insane now Luc, thats for sure! BUT, hold on, my new DHR will beat it!!!!!!
New decals, cleanest Avy mounting ever seen on any bike and some cool new details.

That's it. I'm hobbling downhill and whacking you in the shins with a crutch. I just tried: No my fox will not fit my new frame so I'm stealing yours. I just hope sven martin doesn't see me with it.
