Im just thinking out loud but wouldn't the 2010 internals be wider in diameter because the sanctions are larger. Thus, making it so the push kit wouldn't work seeing that it was made for the 06-09 models with smaller sanctions. i could be completely wrong but i was just thinking...

So if the Race in the UK is £600, and the Team is £900, and the Push kit is £140....... im seeing a major money hole here....

The Race is $879 here in the states, and $139 for the push kit. For $150 more a Team could be had, with a better compression damper, the ability to adjust both rebound settings, and a two year warranty.

Some bikes come spec'd with a Race.... I hardly see it cost effective to spend $1200 to buy a Team....

The you have to sell a used Race...

And for the people buying brand new and wanting to upgrade to a team well If they had a free $1200, to spend on a fork after buying a complete, kicking around they most likely would have gotten the better complete.

The other solution is upgrade the fork at time of purchase getting credit for the Race, not all shops might be keen on doing that.. even though most would...

I'm pretty sure mutley has a race already so I can understand his desire to purchase a damper upgrade, even if its only rebound and hes stuck without the upgraded compression. aybe later down the road he buys orders that up to. (No idea what a team/WC compression damper costs...)

freaking permatex does not lable the little squeeze tubes so I have no idea which one I used for the upgrade! What idiots!

The mod on redone's valve looks like it may be the compression midvalve that is mentiones in the push upgrade?

Any permanent loctite will work. If I was home I would tell you the exact one I used which Darren confirmed would work fine.

You want a permament one that will resist oil.

I wasted a entire morning going to every hardware, auto and tractor store looking for 266 loctite with no luck. Lucky for me my crappy Blackberry is good for one thing, surfing the web. I did some research and purchased the next best thing to loctite 266. Emailed Darren he said it would work fine.

Yes it works, just degrease the threads really thoroughly.
And wait for the loctite to harden before you put the fork back together.

Having done my own mod with the rebound assembly before, I can tell you that not using loctite is NOT a good idea. I had the rebound piston come off the shaft mid race-run.

I have ridden Pushed Boxxer Team this summer. It feels great, much better that before. Now my fork started to have some top out clunk. I have read this thread http://www.ridemonkey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227078&highlight=boxxer+team+top and check that my problem is none of these.

I opened compression leg and took it apart. There is little, about 0.5 mm, play in that black rebound rod end where you thread Push kit. Black part moves little against that rod. Push piston is tight, it don't move.

Is that common? Could this be reason why my fork has this top out clunk? I don't remember if it had play when I installed Push kit.

It sounds like you're referring to the roll crimp at the end of the stock damper rod which is normal. This isn't causing your sound as the damper doesn't top out completely like the spring leg. If you've got a top-out clunk it's coming from the spring side.
