I never noticed any spiking on my fox fork, just that incessant bushing slop clatter that the first generation forks all seem to have had.

That's probably better than the incessantly creaking crowns from the 2nd generation models. My fork scares everybody who rides my bike.

Hmm, never noticed any spiking on my fork either, but my '04 Vanilla still has that bush slopping chatter.

Also, I guess the platform level adjustment is only available to the RLC Forx, as those are the only ones having an extra 12 position adjuster (not necessary anymore 'cause the lockout will be removed).

I have had a fox fork since the day they came out (float TLC) and have had several iterations of it since. I have never, ever felt any sort of high speed spiking. Very odd thing to offer in my opinion. The platform adjustemnt would be nice tho.
