The premise of the book is that a crazed Japanese WWII vet flies a 747 into congress, during Jack Ryan's innaguration as VP, killing both houses and the president. Essentially resetting US govt based on people there to help, not profit. It's an interesting thought...
Ahhh ferchrissakes! I have read all of Clancy's solo fictions but assumed you were referring to a REAL commander. My entry above commanded the chess automaton Napoleon to some dubious victories in the REAL world.
