I don't have an iPod, but my wife's phone is iTunes friendly, so we have the software on our computer. My Mother-in-law just got a shuffle and asked us to put some tunes on it for her. My wife ripped a few of her CDs into the library, then created a playlist of songs to put on the shuffle.
Afterwards I noticed that all of the songs that my wife had ripped from CD appeared twice in the library. I assume this happened when she put them in the playlist? Will this happen every time we add songs to a playlist? Is there a way to keep it from happening? I believe it's the latest version of iTunes if that makes a difference.
