Hey Guys,

Kind of a dumb question, but i was wondering if the crowns on monsters and shivers are interchangable? The only thing i don't like about the monsters is the stupid amount of offest they have, its great for slow turns but makes the steering feel sloppy at high speeds. The shiver crown doesn't have that offset and i want to use it.

Nope, the shiver crowns are much larger dia.

I have a 02 monsters and the offset is still a bit to much for my liking.

Anyway, cheers guys. Maybe when i can afford it i will get some custum ones made. I wonder if the crowns for a fox DH40 would fit??? Hmmmmm..........

This is true but i wouldnt bother switching unless you already own them. The difference is only a few mm.

Nope again. 40mm stancions on the Fox. 38mm on the Monster?

Less offset will lessen your turning radius. How about a steeper headangle?

No its 40 mm on the monster. I just compared my 01 monster crowns to my 04 dj1.... theres only about a 5 mm difference. Do you really think it would matter enough to be worth changing?
