Hello everyone, I need some help installing a rear shock. I just bought the shock from DieselX on another post, You can read about the situation here
http://www.ridemonkey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157051
What i was needing to find is the mounting screws and spacers for a fox vanilla shock to fit my 1999 specialized fsr. If anyone can help me out i would appreciate it. I am trying to get back into mountain biking but its hard when your bike is missing the rear shock.

Any help or info you can send my way would be awesome.

take care
Justin

Call Fox, they will either sell or give you the spacers. They might be able to tell you about the bolt size, but I doubt it.

The bolt is going to be a metric socket head cap screw. All you need to do is figure out the diameter, length, and thread pitch. Easy enough to do with a ruler or a set of calipers. You can also call specialized.

measure the width in mm, call go-ride.com if they don't have one that fits order the next size larger and file away. worked for Me anyhow.
