I was looking at my profile pic of me and my man Tommy boy and noticed my under the seat "fanny" pack. I have since removed that pack from my hardtail. I am wondering, I am thinking that it might not always be cool to keep a "fanny" pack actually under my, well, fanny. What do you think?

No disrespect to those who do either by the way. I can easilly put it back where it was if I find it is ok to have one there. Peace. Tbone

Im over here now
if you have a camelbak on, why do you need a under seat bag? most camelbak's have more than enough space to put all your crap in there

I keep one under my seat for a spare tube medical id and some tire irons. Just in case I forget them in my Camelbak. I also carry the same things in my Camelbak but you never know when you may forget to switch things out between packs or when a rider gets stranded on the trail and you give a tube away.
I don't see the harm.

I did however find out the hard way to not carry on on my DH rig. First drop and I tore the sucker right off with my rear wheel.
