hey im new to like Xc and im wondering what would be a good bike i got some in mind, but im wondering what you think of thr balfa bel-air? is it a good competeing bike or not?
if it aint good what are some other bikes that i should consider.

This won't be much help and I no nothing of the bike you mention, but I've found if you include a little information about what you want to spend and what you want to do with the bike you should get plenty of help. Right now I think the field is too wide open. Good Luck

well what i want to do is get into competative xc racing, i have to start from beginner and all that but thats what i want to do, i got about 1500 bucks to spend and im looking for either a hardtail or duelly to do it. dont care bout weight but i want a bike that can climb hills.

I don't know anything about balfas. For XC racing and with your budget, I'd reccomend getting a hardtail, you can get a lot more bike for the money. Look on eBay, you can get good deals on HT XC race frames (Homegrowns, Giant XTCs, Klein Attitudes, etc).
