are xt and saint chainrings compatible? in perticular the small granny gear. thanks.

you should probably wait for someone who knows more than I do, but I always thought that chainrings were pretty much interchangable. Tooth count and bolt pattern is all that really matters.
XT are very particular - the different lines within XT aren't even compatible with each other.
thanks for the help i just talked to my mechanic and they say its a go we will see...
I believe a little grinding will fix that.
Personally, I would get blackspire or raceface rings as replacement. Quite a few people also recommend Salsa rings.
That's what I did...I replaced the XT chainrings with Race Face. I was amazed by how quickly the XT rings became worn.
