Quick SRAM Derailleur question

I'm talking about the black part(05) where it says Sram X.9, I dont know what thats called. Sorry about the confusion.

Yeah, I had the silver cage that looked like this:



I'm seeing alot of online listings that are black cages that say ESP Technology on them like this:


So again, is there any reason to pick one over the other when prices are identical?

It looks like they fixed my main problem. Hitting rocks with the cable clamp, bending the lower link in so it hit the spring and didn't want to move. :thumb:

Just to note, I think the 05 X9 has different pulleys to the 04, one bush, one bearing. The 04 X9 had dual bearing.
I'm pretty sure that's right, some other tech weenie can correct me otherwise.
