I just found out today, that an old internet buddy of mine passed away recently.. I figured some of you guys might know him and havent heard the sad news yet..

If this is posted elsewhere on RM already i apologize. But i think Ben is worth mentioning here as well.

Yeah i wasnt his closest friend, but i still considered him one even if we havent spoken in years, and wanted to write something nice about him. Ill miss his surprise visits to the mtb channel

Damn. I met and rode with Ben a couple times. He was a great guy. He'll be missed.

I can't believe this happened. Ben came up from Oregon and stayed with us when we lived on the North Shore. We had some great rides with him and my husband talked to him regularly on ICQ. It's unbelievable that someone could be that sick and not know it. So sad! He'll definitely be missed!
