Is there any governing body you can make a complaint with?Still no news...I'm now thinking we're possibly never going to get our money back. This would suck Maybe it should have been obvious from day 1? I am (was?) quite hopeful since they are only changing the medium and not going out of business. We'll see how it goes...
Factory Media still claim on their website that they will contact the existing customers "shortly".
awesome communication on their part lolI have this strange e-mail from the publishers of MBUK that my subscription was transferred from DIRT to MBUK and I will now get 13 issues of MBUK instead of DIRT. What????? They never asked if I want this solution or instead have my money back.
Still better that me... I got the same message for the single issue remaining to my existing subscription, but no news regarding the 13 issues of the subscription I renewed a few weeks before the announcement. I tried contacting them. it may have changed since I last read it but MBUK is not a good magazine. Lot's of tests and product,, but not overly in depth. The magazine definitely panders to a younger audience and whilst the mag was a staple of my early interest in biking it quickly became a little too juvenile. Ironically that's when I switched over to DIRTawesome communication on their part lol
but IF you get a first issue, let me know how it is... i need a good DH magazine
LOL, yes the british MBA. But I wouldn't call the tests "tests". Riding a bike at the outdoor demo at Interbike and the writing an article about it as if they had a test bike for months is a little strange, isn't it?MBUK

I always thought it was an armless fat chick with cock-eyed nipplesWow.
Most important thing to come out of this thread - I've just realised the monkey logo is a teddy bear when viewed upside down.
I'll miss dirt, online mags don't do it for me.
Nah, her arms are below her boobs.I always thought it was an armless fat chick with cock-eyed nipples
I got a same letter about opinions and later an e-mail about transfer about a week ago. I am happy with the subscription transfer to MBUK.I now found a letter from DIRT in the mail, saying that I have the option to have my subscription transferred to MBUK or get my money back. Deadline is September 25 for making the decision. Maybe you get a letter like that as well and it just takes its time by snail mail?
It's pretty much dead. Though it's sad to see it in its current form given that Enduro Magazine can afford to bring a full kitted bus to eurobike and that's a friggin online zine.I called them to ask for the refund and I got the money back.
It took a while, but they did come through. Pretty happy about that! Long live DIRT!
Same here, except from my uncle. My sub was an annual present from the mother in-law, should check in with her!
