Broken ribs too? Geez. Ya man, take like 3 months off. Get a pass to the UCSB rec cenn (wonderful scenery while you sit on the stationary bikes). Lift for your shoulder/back and work on general conditioning. It'll work wonders.
Ya, fractures hurt :P
Going to take a long while off and see how it turns out. Thanks again for the advice guys. Also kind of hoping other people are learning things also.

Can't wait to race again though so I can try all these things.

Maybe related to anything, relaxing is a huge part, i almost prefer an early run bobble, because it gets my focus and determination way higher, in my us open race i qualified with a 2 42 on a horrible run washing out and tagging a few trees and **** lines (no high lines because of mud) Knowing this i absolutely pinned the bottom of the course like a mad man. I had my "perfect" dustry dry top half in my finals run, but wasnt so "determined/focused" that i only pulled a 2 40. taking the 2 halfs and putting together id loose 5 seconds, maybe a little "intentional" bobble could help you?
