With much effort from Blackwater Bikes (Davis) and Digital Area Maps (Davis), we are making this weekend’s race available online.

Here is some additional info:

Event – Revenge of the Rattlesnake
Date – Sept 27
Start – Timberline (in Canaan Valley, WV)
Finish – Davis (WV)

Total Distance: 36.2 miles
Total Vertical ascent: 3640 feet

Resort Mileage: 2.8 miles
Pavement Mileage: 2.1 miles
Gravel Mileage: 2.4 miles
Single Track / Double Track: 31.7 miles

Shuttle was said to be provided from and / or to Davis.
Show up early at Blackwater Bikes in Davis for shuttle.
Last shuttle will leave at 9:55am – the road will be closed shortly thereafter.

Registration will be held in Timberline at 9am.
Start will be at 11am – at Timberline.


There will be several photographers on location - weather dependant.
Notably, I believe that JR Petsko will be present with his camera in hand.

It was raining, but I tell you what: The spirit was high, trail conditions were surprisingly good, temperatures were just right, fall colors were "just incredible".

I believe that we have enough photos of the race to satisfy just about anyone & and an epic day for colors.
