Hi all,

I dont know mates, but my saddle on my SX just looks wrong when combined with the 0 layback thomson post.

I got a 1993 Flite transalp saddle (slimmer than a flite). Now correct me if i am wrong, but flites have a very short rear and a very long nose, plus the rails on flites, dont allow for much rearward adjustment.

That is in comparison with a normal saddle like a WTB rocket/laser or an SDG belair.

I am mentioning this not only because of the visual aspect of things, but i also noticed that i sit on the rear end of the saddle while i have my post dropped. Now with a slack SA, a thomson post and the flite, i think i have the least favorable setup when my post is dropped. For XC saddle height the cockpit is fine, for DH cockpit no...

Will a WTB (for example) have more adjustability on the rails and basically a more sensible positioning of the rails with respect to a Flite? (flite has the rails too far back)

I am asking this since i cannot test a WTB on an lbs... neither an SDG so i ll have to mail order one if i decide that there is a difference to my aid.

I run a Flite on my all around rig and an SDG Bel-air on my Dh rig. I found with the Flite it would sit too far forward as well for my DH rig.

With a Bel-air ( for me ) its sits just right in rails for a more even feel not too far forward or back on the rails. I did not like the WTB saddles I tried but thats just me.
