Huh, interesting... Link?

I made that mistake once.Gooseberry mesa yo!
I have to admit I've never ridden up there. But I've seen lots of video and pics that made it look pretty fun. Not so?I made that mistake once.
Though maybe it just wasn't fun for me because I didn't bring my fully rigid carbon 29er single speed with funny looking handle bars and one of those seat posts you have to cut.
I think you'll find this helpful - http://www.vitalmtb.com/features/Rad-Rides-Eats-More-The-Vital-MTB-Guide-To-Southwest-Utah,481Other than the Rampage site, is there good riding close by? I'd love to plan a roadtrip to watch next year and get a few days of riding in.
it's on his fb dude:Huh, interesting... Link?
thanks Conti! best tires in the world. #rampage was fun, the result... no comment, you make your own opinion
Competitors are probably stoked to not be dead. At what point does Zink NOT walk away? He's pushing the Evil Kenevil envelope of our sport. You know, that fine line between landing an incredible trick by literally defying death...and actual career ending, crippling failure.I am a spectator. Are you not?
You know man, on that note, most of the competitors seem way more chill about the judging than a lot of us spectators. They compete in judged events... it's subjective. Pretty sure it wasn't competitors who went interweb ballistic with "Norbs got ROBBED"
It was indeed fast and gnarly: "hopping accoss that ridge like a bunny rabbit"One observation though, is watching people riding and dropping down the same ridge Gee was gapping shows how fast and gnarly that run was. These guys are dropping each step while the dude was gapping them. Crazy.

Good one to bring up, amazing high speed run, hitting that crazy transfer at the bottom,
it's too bad it's overshadowed by Zinks 360:
Does anyone else remember "For whom the bell tolls" playing during Zink's run when he did that 360 live? That with the dark clouds and the wind added that much more to a nutty move.
as explicit as you can expect it while staying professional. He's obviously not stoked.thats explicit for you?
Why not bring it up? Rad is rad and should be talked about. Link to Andreu's run?Why bring up Gee's run from the past, when Andreus run from this weekend was EPIC, the speed and flow at the top was worth mega points, let alone the tricks at the midway.
Truth...Why bring up Gee's run from the past, when Andreus run from this weekend was EPIC, the speed and flow at the top was worth mega points, let alone the tricks at the midway.
Yeah, I found to have a good time I had to stand up and sprint super hard. After about 10 minutes of that my out of shape self was over it. I'm sure it could also be more fun following someone who knew the best route to take. It was just my wife and I hitting it cold turkey so not that fun... especially considering some of the other riding around St. GeorgeI think you'll find this helpful - http://www.vitalmtb.com/features/Rad-Rides-Eats-More-The-Vital-MTB-Guide-To-Southwest-Utah,481
Gooseberry is definitely a unique experience. Some will love it, others will hate it. The key is to charge and ride it like a big ass natural skatepark, or at least that was the case for me.
Truth...
Gee's run from 2010 would barely get through the quali rounds this year, if at all. That ridge is like an XC trail in comparison to the "heart" that Zink and Strait dropped into.
Adreau was my favorite to watch all weekend, just for the sheer speed and style he had down the upper part of the mountain. The terrain up there is so gnarly, too bad that gets completely lost on the TV coverage.
I was super impressed with Aggy as well. That guy has so much style it's just not fair, and if he had managed a smooth run without the little bobbles he had this year he would have been right up there as well. His dumped 3 was the move of the day for me.
Cheers,
Dave
Is it wrong that the thing I took away from it is "What does a Butch gotta do to get that kit Zink was wearing???"Aggy, holy sh1t, he really put on a clinic this weekend, I don't like to preach what could have been, but if his hand didnt come off grip, that was a banger run.
I always walk away from this event with an even greater appreciation for the guys in this sport, just making it down that mountain, is remarkable. Respect to all.
yes. and it will be available in the spring. Is it wrong that the thing I took away from it is "What does a Butch gotta do to get that kit Zink was wearing???"

Why bring up Semenuks kit from the future, when Andreus kit from this weekend was EPIC?Or sooner, along with Semenuks 2014 sprint kit, and some others that are coming. shhhhh
All correspondence may be sent parcel post to the following address: The Butch, care of your mom, 69 Lucsalimpwristed Huckerupyours Lane, Tahoe CA 91111Does anyone know how to mail a back handed bltch slap and keep it fresh upon arrival?
On a completely absolutely unrelated note: hey butch what's your mailing address? You know......christmas
All you need to know at this point:Why bring up Semenuks kit from the future, when Andreus kit from this weekend was EPIC?
found it:anyone else see all that excess padding on the outside of Zinks d3? or was it just me.
this competition is beyond ridiculous
Whatever. I just think andreu would have deserved a better position and I think he agrees with that. But "no comment about the police" would sound awesome.I think the point is this:
Full Definition of EXPLICIT
a : fully revealed or expressed without vagueness, implication, or ambiguity : leaving no question as to meaning or intent <explicit instructions>
b : open in the depiction of nudity or sexuality <explicit books and films>
2
: fully developed or formulated <an explicit plan> <an explicit notion of our objective>
3
: unambiguous in expression <was very explicit on how we are to behave>
4
of a mathematical function : defined by an expression containing only independent variables — compare implicit 1c
— ex·plic·it·ly adverb
— ex·plic·it·ness noun
By your definition, Ice T's song would have been labeled "No Comment about the Police"
prototype? more like one-off
Yeah. I imagine the conversation went something like:prototype? more like one-off
and if the judges thought his upper section was harder (which it looked like it was, but its pretty damn hard to tell when watching it online) .
It begs the question: If they really cared, why didn't they put him in a moto lid designed for bigger impacts instead of some prototype?Yeah. I imagine the conversation went something like:
"We heard you were going to do something completely insane and we're worried about you so we put more **** on your helmet in an effort to keep you from becoming a vegetable."
it sounds less like an actual "prototype" and more like a production lid with some additional EPS panels adhered to the exterior of the outer shell. It begs the question: If they really cared, why didn't they put him in a moto lid designed for bigger impacts instead of some prototype?
