I was on a night ride when I came across a dog skeleton (I think) in the mud. It down to the bare bones, but the mud made it hard to tell.

I cannot believe how freaked out I was...

What shape were it's teeth? That's a good way to tell a dog.

I found a skunk carcass on a regular ride once. Each time I would go back and do the ride I would check the skunk. Eventually it was down to the bones at which point I took the skull and bleached it. I still have it put away somewhere.

I didn't want to hover around it (btw, I was alone). There were a few bones out of place as well, i.e. disturbed grave. And it was a large sized dog as well.

This is one of the few times I had a camera phone. I could have just snapped a shot quickly...
