The bacon was crap, I miss proper butcher bacon but this was the only non imported stuff I could find in the supermarket.
The normal local butcher smokes their bacon in house, they do the cabanossi at the same time.

my chicken satay recipe is getting better. gonna be adding it to the regular rotation i think. even the kids love it, but they don't use the spicy peanut dipping sauce.

Adobo roast chx thighs over red pepper, cauliflower and potato mash. Garlic, onion, various cheeses included.

Egg, radish, onion, jalapeño tacos.

Shiitake and shrimp scampi.

Our local Butcher (Schwan's) makes cabanossi. Its not available most of the year. But they tease us by keeping it up on the board.

I too made shrimp Stampi (heh), it was delicious. 10 or twelve cloves of garlic, butter and olive oil, a sliced red pepper, two large bunches of basil, some crushed red pepper, pepper, lemon juice, and salt.
On angel hair pasta.
