It's like they painted all the worst parts of the frame black so they would be less noticeable. Kinda has the opposite effect. It's like the thing was designed, built and painted as hideously as possible on a dare or something.
The absolute clusterfuck that is the PB article comment section is worth checking out for the Offering press release. You don't get drama like that often. The below threshold comments are gold.Evil "The offering", steeper seat angle, yet no profile pic.
Holy sh!t.. That was "interesting". Obviously a lot of smart people involved. The absolute clusterfuck that is the PB article comment section is worth checking out for the Offering press release. You don't get drama like that often. The below threshold comments are gold.

Evil makes some tasty bikes these days, but much like Crank Brothers they need so much PR work on the brand name that its almost worth changing it.
I never thought about that, but it's true. The Evolink already does quite well in that department:You forgot to mention the improved folding ability of the bike due to better cable routing and easy removable connection between shock driver and swing arm.
Die spinnen, die Finnen.I never thought about that, but it's true. The Evolink already does quite well in that department:
A friend of mine ordered one as soon as it was available on "the" Saturday and got it the next Tuesday which nice for travelling from Spain to Sweden!Evil "The offering", steeper seat angle, yet no profile pic.
lololollolololololololoA friend of mine ordered one as soon as it was available on "the" Saturday and got it the next Tuesday which nice for travelling from Spain to Sweden!
BUT the bike was not build, he got all the parts in a big box... quite rude taking into account that the price is rather high for a direct sell bike. Then the reverb died after 200m of riding and his fork is leaking air to the lower leg... what a start!

Well, that's not really new. And their air spring curves look really weird: the curves from 0 to 4 tokens look more like just going up in pressure... but I didn't read much on their site, to be honest!Add-on secondary air spring - https://diazsuspensiondesign.com/runt/
Uglying something into Knolly levels should be punished with jail time. But not as ugly as a Knolly, nowhere near as ugly as a Knolly.
Two wrongs don't make a right.so ugly they are almost not ugly?
Mine was 34lbs with real parts such as 1200 gram tires. I think you can build one to be 32 with decent tires. Yeah it wont go into an easier gear with load. This is bizarre considering you can shift any MX bike wide open with no clutch. I know the .80 HP the humans make is so stressful on metal. They need to tweak that and make the engagement on it much higher. It's like 18 degrees now it should be over 100....Kind of a random thought, but I rode a Zerode Taniwha on the weekend and the Pinion gear box didn't really have me wanting to ride it more. Granted I only rode it around the parking lot and some grassy stuff, but the shifting had shitty feedback. For one, you can't shift under load and when it does shift, sometimes I could feel it and other times I was wondering if it did actually shift. The gripshift and effort required was not the best either.
The actual Zerode frame was very nice though. And the bike didn't feel heavy to me, after reading some report about the bike being a porker.
more of a if you keep turning right thingTwo wrongs don't make a right.
I know little about motorbikes or Pinion gearboxes but as this is the internet that really doesn't matter as I have an opinion. I'd assume it has a bit to do with how little force you have to shift the Pinion box and that they want to keep them with almost instant engagement. A moto box(I think) uses a pretty crude dog clutch and you have a foot operated shift lever that forces a selector fork to the desired position, having a loose fitting dog/gear assembly on a pushbike would probably feel pretty crap.Mine was 34lbs with real parts such as 1200 gram tires. hey marin, you're needed over here!I thought the new Polygon DH rig was the pinnacle in the ugly bike department?
Now the question is, did they make the 2018 version's LR bad intentionally so they could post that chart now?The 2019 ProPain Tyee looks good as well. Crabon and alloy models available, decent geo, improved leverage ratio curve, good price - me likey.

No fucking way! I check the Sinister site from time to time hoping that there will be something nice on there, same with Spooky but they have horrible shit! The less said about the name the better. A new bicycle from Sick Bicycles in collaboration with FtW, yet to be funded.

27,5" or 29" and 150 or 170mm of rear travel. 62° HTA and 77° STA. Maybe we need a new single metric to determine the progressiveness of a frame's geometry. I suggest the distance from the ground to the intersection of seat- and headtube. Pole could totally be winning that contest at the moment if only they published their numbers.
