That's probably the issue in their supply chain I'd imagine.

They most likely get their fiber from Toray. Which has manufacturing facilities all over the place, Japan, France, Tacoma, Illinois. Considering the storage requirements of pre-preg, probably safe to say the get it from the closest source.

was assuming they're taking the piss with those stats, but yeah, GD 2.0 isn't out of the question either. though in carbon? can't imagine they (or anyone) have the $$ to build a one off plastic joke bike.

Pivot riders all on new enduro bikes at the EWS by the looks. Maybe they've changed the Firebird to a vertical shock like the rest of the range?

So last year was the year of the short-travel, slack, (*makes dry-heaving sounds*) downcountry bike, this is the year of the long-travel, HSP ('cept for the 2 new Transitions) (*makes more dry-heaving sounds*) superenduro. Answers to questions no one is asking.

following up on the Enve topic....

tl;dr - demand is higher than ever and they just can't build the wheels fast enough

I'd imagine plane manufacturing is a bit slow at the moment so that should free up a lot of carbon.

I had always assumed that ENVE made their bars in the US, seems that is not the case.
