I always thought Ti was supposed to be terrible for a full sus bike because it's not stiff enough for the normally used tubes.

i can't imagine a usage case where something like that would make sense, but they did manage to make a foot of travel look good, so as an art project it's successful. i mean:

seriously, bender's bike must have been scary af to ride down anything knarly. seems it'd be worse than the standard 8" dh bikes of the era for anything other than roof drops to flat.

Does it have a stiffening linkage like foes for the rear triangle? Can't see anything connected.
Edit: It DOES have something going on there, checking the website. It looks to have stiffening braces right below the linkage attachment, except that they must be able to get 160mm of travel before they touch the seat-tube. Interesting. I'd still be a bit suspect about stiffness, but maybe the stiffness of steel makes up for that.
