Ha, i was in snowboarding in Chamonix about a month ago, talked to some buddies about doing that route this summer!

It's in South Tyrol, Italy. The valley is called Val Gardena and is in the Dolomites.
Insanly panoramic ski resort. From the same spot this pic was made you can see this aswell:

It's pretty much heaven on earth.
