Some of the most epic riding anywhere. The trail skirts the edge and traverses several gullies. I ride it once a year for good measure. Ellicottville and OCP are nearby also....

Many moons ago I did a backpacking trip through Linville with a buddy and one of his friends from high school. Said high school dude was so disappointed in the "grand canyon of the east" that he bitched an moaned with great passion every moment he was awake. The most enjoyable part of the trip was basking in his misery.i like my grand canyons of the east to be right hurr in NC.
