I fly one in Digital Combat Simulator, the most realistic FS of NATO (and Russian, Czechoslovak and Swedish) jets and choppers, by a Russian development team. The max roll rate is 720 degs/second, better than the F16.

Doubt it. They were light ground attack jets, movies usually featured flashy fighter jets of that era like the F104 Starfighters or F4 Phantoms, later the F14s.

Yeah, they flew them as aggressors, not as MiGs. The "MiG-28" was an F-5. I completely forgot Viper flew one, the movie is just terrible.
