I am a sucker for old pick up trucks. Is that a chevy?
'65 or '66, I forget. It's from Delmo's Kustoms in SoCal. He built a '65 that was in last months Custom Classic Trucks, so a customer send him the black one to redo. Took him about 2 months to build.

My '66 will be done eventually. :(

why the raised bed? to make it even with the notched frame?
Yes, you can see the Porterbuilt bolt in step notch in the frame picture. The notch is 9" and the way the bed is in the C10, there is a lip that fits flush with the top. Then he sectioned the tubs to keep them below the bed rails.

I am doing something similar but more functional than this.

<edit> Also covers the air setup. The new mount is bad ass.
