Yep, all EMG pickups are active. The Seymour Duncans on the PRS SE above - Black Winters - are pretty close with high gain output and a lot of high frequencies, but with the convenience of passive pickups, and if you split them, the single coil sound is super gnarly.
Left hand model not available at my local Guitar Center. Nifty green Tele with a Humbucker was however. They let me take it home. Fuckers...

its strange. lack of forward vision, no flaps, heavy stick responsive pedals. no glide ratio, landing requires a steep approach angle
