Made some subs, but for the most part stuck with the recipe as written. The Portuguese rolls that are ubiquitous in the markets around here I think would be better than a hard French baguette such as we used.


The Pickled veggie slaw was the absolute win. Cucumber carrot zucchini and the white parts of the scallions. I want to marinate everything in it now.

Looks delicious, except you seem to have accidentally put cilantro weed onto your plate. I recommend killing that with fire.

I subbed cilantro for the mint, mainly due to having taste buds.

YMMV.

I feel about mint as you probably do about cilantro.

That said, make the slaw/marinade. Use it to fyroastgrillsear all the things!
