The Golden Gate Bridge is continuously repainted, one end to the other. I think they take one day off.
Any road maintenance.I read the same about traditional American bridges.
early 80s off San Clemente Island 10 pound 2 oz Calico Bass. Kill shot with a 5' 3 band AMF Swimmaster speargun with a 3/16" SS spear. Dive boat Conception (the one that burned). Me (probably high as hell too)
That's like Navy ships too, according to my brother. Mostly just to paint over the rust. Can't lose if your bridge is rust-colored.

In Montreal they just wait until they start to crumble. Then they ignore it and add cages to catch the falling concrete.I read the same about traditional American bridges.
Gardiner Expressway in Toronto is also no different. Just crumbling away with patch jobs done all the time.

The netting and cages are still all over the place though. Autoroute 40 is freakin horrible to drive on in a car or anything really. Every expansion joint on the elevated sections is like hitting a speed bump.
Forgot about the 40. Yeah, they haven’t done much with the elevated section of that.

My M1 MBA lasts forever on battery, it's ridiculous how good that little Mac is.
I get given random old things to test and I buy stupid shit so having the weird and wonderful ports is very handy, I had to buy a USB to serial adapter yesterday.
Doing everything via a USB C dongle doesn't interest me, my current laptop is lacking a bit in ports but they did manage to fit a fold out full size LAN port in to a sub 1kg laptop which is handy. Plus I can swap a HDD, RAM, modem, battery out in 10mins, serviceability is king.
Sadly Lenovo have bought a majority share in the company so my next laptop will be something else, fuck Lenovo, fuck them to hell.

Yeah I don't think it would take much, if I used it a lot I'd get a cable that's already had it's tang snapped off.
