Esh Bass solo.
Almost had a chance to buy one of those but the asking price was insane. Love the green they used. Been super curious about that piezo pickup electronic package.

I can’t recall exactly but I do remember thinking it was exceptionally high. It was under $5k but I want to say over $3k. Funny thing was that I messaged the seller about it years later on the same bass forum and he denied that he ever had it up for sale.
For anything over $2k I’ve gotta put my paws on it. I did break that rule once but for a brand I was familiar with and electronics I had used before. Esh doesn’t have enough rep to persuade me.
To me they are works of art. I cannot play. But I am a big fan of the instrument.

There are some gorgeous instruments out there. I’ve spent more than I should to own a few of them, but try to think of them as playable art.

The type of drivetrain matters little for cars that never get driven. Good chance if any of those get rebuild to stock, they will never see a drop of gas. Jut NIB Matchbox cars for the rich.
