Hey serious question.....I need another spine scan (upper so head in the tube). There are some mri machines that are thinner like that (like a CT scanner) these days right? The one they have at my local hospital is the full claustrophobic coffin.
Girlfriend just had one done in a brand new machine. She had screen with images and music in headphones. She said the machine was loud but better than the one she had 10 years ago. She's claustrophobic so she took an Ativan before hand.
Yeah we got all that. Still sux. Last one I got involved xanax which helped but it still sux.
I know there are some scanning ones, as in the device is a thinner ring that moves over the body part of interest. Just don't know if they're worth a damn.

I'm friends with the head radiologist locally (mtber) so it sucks that it's kind of a hookup in terms of billing. I hate his cheaper option torture device...
