Did you get stuck on the way up or the way back?Just got back from a few days in Vail. Those brain dead losers can’t handle snowfall for shit. Never going anywhere but Okemeo from now on.

turned into gridlock right after I took this picture.
I had no idea this movie was a biopic about Westy. In college we used pack staircases with snow and sled down it. That seems less fun.
Pretty uneventful travel to and from the airport.Did you get stuck on the way up or the way back?

It's lowish to middlin' for a (domestic) major. That's United's starting pay. Teamsters just got a newer contract (November if memory serves) that came with a not great bump in pay from where they were. Scale tops out in 6 years at 60 some an hour. Varies a bit with location, shift, and additional qualifications. Delta seems to be leading the pack currently with pay but things are pretty hot right now and could change any time. FedEx and UPS are where the REAL money is, but they are pretty hard to get on with. It's a good time to be an aircraft mechanic if you're willing to destroy your health and family life by working nights, weekends and holidays for the rest of your life. Most majors are hiring techs right out of school right now as long as you know righty tighty/lefty loosy and can fog a mirror. That shit simply did not happen when I got out of A&P school 2+ decades ago. This image is slightly out of date, but gives you an idea.Is that good pay?
Ahhh... that's the good-ol' Midwestern factory work ethic right there.<snip>It's a good time to be an aircraft mechanic if you're willing to destroy your health and family life by working nights, weekends and holidays for the rest of your life.
The across the world "ethic" for most employment today.Ahhh... that's the good-ol' Midwestern factory work ethic right there.
Hence, why I remain with a feeder. Sure the pay could be better, but I have seniority now, topped out on pay scale and there is NO FUCKING WAY I go through all that again.Ahhh... that's the good-ol' Midwestern factory work ethic right there.
