I was at a site last week that had some maybe 2" plate that had been cut with some sort of torch, I'll have to ask if it's plasma.
I could have stayed and asked questions all day but I was being paid to be there so I couldn't.
There was a remote control lifting device out in the yard that could lift 70000kg, they had to work on crushers that weighed up to 50t and on some each tooth has to be gouged off with a torch at refurb time. There'd have to be near 1000 teeth, that that would be a shit job.
I get to go to some fun places.
