I was sure something I had to have a look at had a carby issue, it would put drips of fuel in at idle. It got rebuilt, did the same thing, took it to a carb specialist who pulled it down and pressure tested it and said it was all good.
It did the same thing and slowly lined the intake with fuel, I really thought a carb specialist would pull a vacuum through each carby to see that it behaved properly.
I get disappointed by so many specialists, why can't it be like the olden days where people had a proper fucking go?!

Naw, I think that one transcends generations.
No new tech or social constructs to poke fun at, just dumb being led to enlightenment.

As long as you don't use the rear brake and became aware of the failure early on. You might be able to make it close to the trailhead.
