Take this frame, paint it Tremclad yellow, dump the banana for a normal style saddle, no fender, bars halfway between these and moto bars and an Ashtabula fork and you have what I rode for years.

It started out with spoked wheels, ended up with mags and some sort of coil sprung / no damper 20" triple-clamp fork that my dad found. That stopped broken wheels and forks, and about this time it acquired brazed in plates at the headtube and seat/chain stay junction cause reasons. :busted:

Ah to be 12 in the mid 70's again. :shakefist:

Jeebus. You guys had some gucci-ass BMX bikes as kids. I rode what ever department store shit I could scrounge, trade or otherwise acquire.
My first bike was a girl's bike that had been welded back together and painted the same Mission Brown as our house.
Then a few years later I got a MTB that said 'Not For Off Road Use'.

That MTB was my first warranty denial, suspension fork snapped but as the bike had been on dirt the warranty was void.

Don't think I've had many warranty denials since.
