As an engineer I find most articles even mildly technical to be hilariously misunderstood by the author. What do you expect from someone with a liberal arts degree? Not only do their degrees not prepare them for such subjects but they are often the types to have spent their summers in Europe ant not working at the local Jiffy Lube.

Spouse was mowing the lawn and caught a rope with the mower. She didn't kill it until the mower and started walking up the rope.
Rope appears in surprisingly good condition.
