I'm guessing they might have picked breweries on sales. Starr Hill in Va is a bit of a sham. Their beer kind of sucks, very flat flavor profiles. I can think of 3 other breweries in a 30 mile radius of them that make better beer. Starr Hill however has done a better job of distribution.
WTF happened in Oregon? I would've bet Deschutes would've taken it...
No idea. I've never heard of Epic Ales, and I work 2 blocks away.I'm guessing they might have picked breweries on sales. Starr Hill in Va is a bit of a sham. And I drink a lot of beer. Most of it from growlers from my neighborhood breweries.
As much as I like Deschutes, Full Sail does make tasty beer. They make a lot of stuff that they never bottle that is very good.
Going down on Friday to ride and drink.

This new one, which isn't on Google maps, makes 7 within 2.5 miles of my house. If you go up to 10 miles, there must be 30+ easily.
There is not a fvcking CHANCE New Belgium is the best brewery in CO.
How about Devils Backbone - know somebody who works there. They keep winning competitions. My father-in-law has a degree in chemical engineering (used to make edible varnish (the shiny stuff on the jelly beans) for a living) and brews his own beer. Good tasting stuff.I've actually thought about it. I bet I could figure out how to brew a damn good beer with my bio/chem background.

There is Laughing Dog. I've had some beers of theirs that were not quite right but I am not sure I would leave them off the list altogether.
And WTF Idaho? There are several breweries in Boise, I remember all of them being pretty good, though I don't recall if any of them distribute.
Live in Asheville. I can't take a step without tripping over pint glasses and fricking tasting parties. I can see Highland Brewing across the street.Fvcking Northwest... I wish I had a "neighborhood brewery"
