yeah and we were all on a first name basis with the Doc in the ER who put in lots of cool stitches and the occasional cast.. Never came into school the next day with tape covering up the new 20 or so Freankenstein stiches...much winAlthough it more applies to me in the 1980s

We did a few of these in Level II and III mountaineering.

U.S. Army. Most training is based not on pairs climbing but squad based (6-10 soldiers). Human ladder used primarily to reach the initial anchor point in the event that there are no footholds or if it is too loose to be climbed by normal means.What the hell mountaineering school teaches this technique?!?
