Is it bad that my stomach gives up before I can do it at 25? Though I remember it's tricky to talk to someone and try to not fall of the floor.
If you're drinking beer then just burp a few times inbetween each beer. If hard liquor, then make sure to continually snack. It it still happens... then your stomach is weak

It's all about pacing. Get a good base going, them ramp it up. You should aim to peak at closing time. Don't worry, you will get there. One day too, you will have "that night".

i couldnt sleep with all the noise that probably makes
If it is setup properly, it should run silent.

Driver signed waiver to get this out of the shop without repair.

Wow, in my shop if they wanted to leave without repair it would require being towed because I will not give the keys, specially seeing the rotor is about to separate into two pieces. Congrats on probably killing someone who is crossing a crosswalk. Sorry you should never let a vehicle roll down the road like that, make them tow it, whatever you have to do but do not let them drive it from your shop, you are in fact responsible for the safety of that vehicle, waiver or not. If said customer got pissed off at me for not giving them the keys I would tell them to call the police, the police here would have me put it together then as soon as they moved they would stop them and impound the vehicle...... no compromise of safety, it could be your kid in the crosswalk when this vehicle needs to stop.....

^^^This

I've had a few of these come in over the years. All but once did they opt to get it done ASAP. The exception bitched and moaned and eventually called the cops. Cops backed me up and said that if the vehicle crossed 1 inch past my gate in it's current state, the car would be impounded and the driver charged with wreckless driving and some other stuff. Car was towed out.

Not weak, old. I've got good pacing, I eat beforehand. Starting drinking at a very young age also means it's hard to kill myself like that now. Though I've had 1 year breakup with drinking not so long ago so that may have contributed.

when i worked in passenger cars, i only let cars in that condition leave in a tow truck.

there was this time, this guy came with a old land cruiser (apparently his beater off-roader), which was beat to hell for an overhaul quote.
we made and inspection (didnt take anything apart). suspension/steering repairs alone were about $7k. the car was worth no more than $10k.

he decided to send his driver to take the car out, without having any work done.

the very next day, a lower ball joint broke (while the driver was driving) and the car skidded to a stop for like 30ft.

guy came back to the shop claiming it was our fault. he threatened to sue us.

fortunately, i had gotten a signed waiver from his driver stating the car was too dangerous to operate.

from that day on, i only let cars like that out in tow trucks.

Problem that truly arises from a situation such as this, is that you are not just responsible for the vehicle and diver, you are also responsible for anyone else they will probably hit.... tow truck only if they want to leave
