Please remind me of her name again. Her pictures had me quite intrigued...I came across her sometime last year and all.
I have three apparently healthy American Chestnuts growing now. Two have been producing seed for a few years now. We'll see. This makes me cry a little inside.

Your argument is now INVALID! This is USMC VETERAN, CPL.Todd Love at the Spartan race 25Aug2012. Love lost both legs and an arm while sweeping for explosives in Afghanistan. When asked about his injuries at his homecoming he said, "I was up front with the minesweeper looking for mines, and I found it" He said jokingly
So Mamaw was a champion pole greaser? The other was the pole greasing contest which had a big time prize at stake too. Mamaw (my grandmother ) said the contest was really viscious.
really? how tall are they? I was just reading about them and supposedly trees will still grow saplings but they won't grow past 7-10 feet because of blight. I was actually looking into getting some of the new hybrid seeds from the chestnut foundation, but they want a $300 donation for two seeds...that's a lot of money and I'm no horticulturalist.I have three apparently healthy American Chestnuts growing now. To kill a zombie
When it comes to zombie killing, we have to say that we're pretty much experts. Well, we've done the research. We've read the books, seen the movies, watched the TV shows. So you could say we've seen every possible way to off a zombie and we know the importance of the double-tap or decapitation. But when it comes to real world experience.... uhhhh.... well, we've run in the Zombie Dash. Does that count?
In the meantime, we're building our stockpile of zombie-killing weaponry, and the M48 Apocalypse Tactical Tomahawk is one of our prized possessions. With a wide, upswept axe blade, the ATT has a massive slash for decapitating walkers. The secondary edge on the back of the head is specially sharpened on both edges for a hook attack guaranteed to puncture the spicy brains of any zombie. Lightweight enough to carry all day, toting the ATT won't tire out before you get back to the safety of your camp.
