Big snake a shame he killed it. I found the shedded skin from a rattle snake in New Jersey this spring but I have never seen a live one.
You guys should get to see a Timber Rattler here in NC up close. I took some pics of one crossing the trail here and it's the biggest thing I've ever seen. When I slammed on the brakes, I actually had the thought that it was an alligator's tail, the scales were so big and it was so thick. We get them all the time out here in Cali. I can't even remember how many I've seen out on the trails. It's the tiny ones you gotta watch out for.

as a euro i'm not too adept on US cars, but considering what i learned on RM, allow me the question: isn't that car standing upside down?
it pains me that you can probably get get a series II/III land rover cheaper than you can get a FJ45 pickup....
My first aviation job, the guy who owned the place had a FJ45. It could go anywhere, it just couldn't do it fast. People would stop by the hangar probably once a month an offer to buy it. Far as I know, Phil still has it. /coolstorybro.it pains me that you can probably get get a series II/III land rover cheaper than you can get a FJ45 pickup....
