I think it's a great price for that caliber of car. Obviously not for everyone, but I think they will sell a ton of them. Porsche got blasted when they released the Cayenne and it's their best selling car. It's what funds producing the really rad cars...

Hell, I'd seriously consider the Macan if we hadn't just bought my wife's Lexus. It would be a lot more fun for me to drive....

Exactly.

I will admit, I am wicked biased right now. I've been test driving 01-04 Z06's, one has 30k miles on it for $19k. I don't care what you do to that grocery getter, while it might be "a lot more fun to drive" than the Lexus, it's still a big ass box on wheels and will corner like one.

For reference (weight : power):
1999 Porsche GT3 2975 360 8.26
2000 Ferrari Modena 3241 395 8.21
2000 Porsche Turbo 3400 415 8.19
2001 Corvette Z06 3115 385 8.09

<edit> I'm sure they will sell a bunch of them, too. My buddy bought his mom a Cayenne S, it's funny. He has a 350Z, his is a bit funner to drive.
