You are from New Bedford, MA?I grew up with it. About 1/3 of my home town is Portuguese, mostly from the Azores (even more hardcore). It's not far from Spanish, so what little spanglish I know helped when talking to my godparents.

Perhaps they have to be in order to survive in a culture which seems to value spousal abuse.Word of advice Portugese women are sore losers.
She could easily pin me when we wrestled. So that can't be it.Perhaps they have to be in order to survive in a culture which seems to value spousal abuse.
That keyboard doesn't look very productive for having 4+ console windows open. Give me a keyboard with some real keys...
Is it the un-trimmed brush obscuring the trail? The one next to the hiking trail ?Anyone else sees that there is something terribly wrong with this picture?
All the rocks removed from the trail, for maximum "flow"? That's not a hiking trail, that's new singletrack in CA.Is it the un-trimmed brush obscuring the trail? The one next to the hiking trail ?
If recalibration is in order, please refer to @Westy for further assistance.Edit: is my sarcasm-meter broken?
Perfect if your kids need a practice hill to do BMX gate starts.
Bike manufactures cannot afford to develop new hub standards if new generations of bikers can't buy into the sport. Which of course requires trails that the 99% can ride. It is a win win for everyone, unless you are more concerned about having fun on your bike rather than how it looks on your new roof rack. All the rocks removed from the trail, for maximum "flow"? I would have to see the before prior to commenting on the after - kind of looks like they might have been building on talus? All the rocks removed from the trail, for maximum "flow"? That's not a hiking trail, that's new singletrack in CA.

If it's a new trail, I don't really see the problem, if you put in the time to build it, please build yourself any style trail you want. If it's to technical for me, I'll happily get off and walk, if it's too smooth I'll either bring the road bike or ride elsewhere. However if it's a dumbing down on an existing trail, that's fucked. All the rocks removed from the trail, for maximum "flow"? That's not a hiking trail, that's new singletrack in CA.

The Azores are a part of Portugal, no? That's Pico taken from Faial, I absolutely love that view and the whole little island. *sigh*
Not Portugal. Just the Azores...
Honestly, I've been mostly talking out of my ass about that one. It's just sad to see all the rocks gone. Does anyone build trails with rock gardens anymore? When I'm joining trail building parties with the local NEMBA guys, rocks are almost always being removed for the trails to be easier, even from previously well established trails...If it's a new trail, I don't really see the problem, if you put in the time to build it, please build yourself any style trail you want. A good trail gnome would put the rocks back.rocks are almost always being removed for the trails to be easier, even from previously well established trails...
