Some update pics. Sorry for not being around much. free time is spent going in the woods.

So gypsum is done so is the last bit of insulation.
R70 (22 inches) cellulose insulation for the attic and we had the outside belt and entrance overhang done with spray insulation for air tightness.

Now tackling the plastering. At least I'm good at it, just slow. Living in the house is somewhat slowing me down a bit.

I'd rather mix and poor a foundation by hand than touch plaster and drywall.

just saw a youtube video that suggested folks stop doing this to their attics.

Don't know jack about any of this. Just thought it was interesting that the thumbnail and this looked similar.
