one thing i like to point out to 2a'ers is that "life liberty and the pursuit of happiness" were so important to the founding fathers (whom they so adore) that this made it into the preamble of the declaration of independence. i specifically point out that they consider "life" an "inalienable right" and that they didn't get around to their precious guns until the second amendment to the constitution, roughly 15 years later.
