I want to laugh because it's the Boomers who invest most risky and panic, then get wiped out. For the most part, everybody else listens to advice. Even if they don't take your specific recommendation, they will adjust more inline. Boomers are fucking experts.

that's a byproduct of a system that runs so lean there's almost no inventory on hand. if the supply chain gets interrupted, via either a lack of goods or a lack of healthy individuals operating the various steps of the supply chain, shit goes south *quickly*. it's a very fragile system that operates on continuity, and the slightest amount of stress exposes the weakness.
I posted the same on Facebook, and my post was scrubbed. Someone was complaining that their restaurant might not ‘be recoverable’, and I posted “last I checked, death was not recoverable, either”. They didn’t like that.
